Woohoo! We can already hear the excited sounds of people enjoying the rides and carnival games this year. Who is going to win the teddy bear or beat their best friend in the all star hoops contest. We can’t wait to see you there!

NEW! Get ready to take the stage at the Ankeny Chamber SummerFest Lip Sync Contest presented by Community Choice Credit Union!

This fun, high-energy event invites individuals and groups to perform popular songs by miming the lyrics while bringing the performance to life. It’s not about singing—it’s all about creativity, choreography, costumes, and stage presence to wow the crowd and judges!

Think you’ve got what it takes? Please read the Contest Guidelines and register online to join the fun!

Join us for the Kiddie Parade in the iconic Uptown Ankeny area. Registration begins at 5:30pm with the parade to start at 6:30pm. Get your twinkling lights, snowmen, gingerbread friends, and candy canes ready for festive fun with our “Jingle In July” theme!

Coloring
Contest

Kids! It’s all fun and games with the annual Ankeny Chamber SummerFest Coloring Contest! Make the judges applaud and cheer at your creative coloring skills on the 2026 coloring sheet sponsored by our friends at Veridian Credit Union.

Contest Rules:

  • Children 10 & Under – Age Categories: 1-3, 4-6, and 7-10 years old.
  • Winners will receive a Carnival Wristband and be recognized on stage at Ankeny Chamber SummerFest.
  • Deadline to enter is Friday, June 26. 
  • Drop off location: 1360 SW Park Sq Drive, Suite 104, 106 & 108, Ankeny

Sunday July 12th • 9:30pm

On Sunday night we will cap off Ankeny Chamber SummerFest 2026 with an amazing firework show brought to us by our long time partner and sponsor Karl Chevrolet. This show is sure to bring the BOOM and be located by Promenade Park (behind Jethro’s and District 36). Best place to watch the Fireworks is right in the District!
