We’re turning up the heat and the holiday cheer as Ankeny Chamber SummerFest transforms into a winter wonderland—in July! That’s right, our 2026 theme is JINGLE IN JULY! Expect twinkling lights, snowmen, gingerbread friends, candy canes, and festive fun around every corner. Come celebrate the joy, magic, and togetherness of the holiday season… with sunshine and summer vibes!

Parking spaces will be limited on Ankeny Chamber SummerFest grounds. Please park at the DMACC campus and a shuttle will transport you to and from the entrance. 

The District is the entertainment center of Prairie Trail, a 1,031-acre community located – just East of SW State Street in the middle of Ankeny, IA

Yes! ATMs will be located near ticket booths.

You will find Family Fun Night and the Kiddie Parade in Uptown Ankeny near the Ankeny Market and Pavilion starting at 4pm on Friday. The Kiddie Parade begins at 6:30pm. Family Fun Night ends at 8pm.

Ankeny Chamber Summerfest is located in The District at Prairie Trail.

Shuttles will pick up and drop off guests at a the Flag Poles in one of the main DMACC parking lot. Shuttle Times: Friday, July 10th: 3:30pm - 12:00am Saturday, July 11th: 10:30am-12:00am Sunday, July 12th: 12:30pm-11pm

Limited spaces are available in The District At Prairie Trail during Ankeny Chamber Summerfest hours. Please park in a designated parking lots at the DMACC Campus: 2006 S Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023

Walk

Take advantage of a beautiful day and use the local Ankeny trails to walk to Ankeny Chamber Summerfest. The District at Prairie Trail and Ankeny Chamber Summerfest grounds are also Handicap Accessible.

Bike

Utilize the trails and ride your bike to Ankeny Chamber Summerfest! What a great way to avoid the traffic!
Any bike left behind after grounds closes each night is owner's responsibility.

Saturday, July 11th at 9am and concludes at approximately 11AM

The parade starts at Ankeny Southview Middle School at 9 AM

2 hours with a length of 1.9 miles approximately

North of Prairie Ridge Middle School in Tennis Court parking lot/drive

We’re bringing holiday cheer to Ankeny Chamber SummerFest with our JINGLE IN JULY theme! 

Get ready for twinkling lights, snowmen, gingerbread friends, candy canes, and festive fun everywhere you look. It’s holiday magic, summer style—where sunshine meets seasonal cheer!

Anyone who registers: Example = Civic organization, Church, Business, political  candidates, family, special entry 

Community Groups: $30

General Parade Fee – Chamber Members: $70

General Parade Fee – Non-Members: $100

Political Parties: $200

Signs will be posted on parade route; No parking after 8:15 AM 

Judging will be held along the parade route while passing through Uptown Ankeny on S.W. Cherry St. during the parade. Winners will be notified after the conclusion of the parade. Each entry encouraged to take a photo of your entry to share with the Chamber in case you win! Announce of the winners will appear on social media, and winners are invited to appear on stage Sunday, July 12, at 4:45 PM to receive their trophy!

STAGE at AHS!

Enter off S.W. Magazine Rd. into the WEST parking lot of Ankeny High School for staging between 7 AM and 8:45 AM; 1155 SW Cherry St., Ankeny, IA 50023

Bring printed parade ticket to show Rotary Club of Ankeny to enter lineup.

Communicate with your participants where you are located in the lineup so they can find you.

The staging lot gate will close at 8:45 AM, so be sure to enter before that time.

After the end of the parade, do not drive anything outside the parking lot that is not STREET LEGAL

Do not drive a flatbed trailer with passengers on it after the conclusion of the parade. Arrange for pick-up of participants around Prairie Ridge Middle School. A map will be provided.Safety first! Participants will end at Tennis Courts North of Prairie Ridge Middle School and can walk to the indicated parking lots for pick up.

STAGE at AHS!

Park or get dropped off in the East parking lot of Ankeny High School off S.W. Magazine Rd. (NO DROP OFF allowed on West side of AHS)

Walk around the building to the staging lot and find your entry or group.

Arrange to have your group picked up at the conclusion of the parade.

1 trolley shuttle will provide service back to AHS

Food & Beverage

There will be ticket booths located near the Main Entrance to purchase both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Domestic beers, seltzers, and wine are available at our main beer tent and pavilion bar.  Water, soda, and Powerade will be available to purchase and can be redeemed at the main beer tent and pavilion bar.

No cash will be accepted at the Beer Tents – tickets must be purchased. Must be 21+ to drink. IDs will be checked at all entrances.

FAQ

Rules & Safety

The Smokefree Air Act applies to all of the Ankeny Chamber SummerFest grounds. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on grounds. This is a state law that will be enforced.

Ankeny Chamber Summerfest is a pet-free zone so please leave those furry friends at home. This policy will be posted and enforced.

Ankeny Chamber SummerFest reserves the right to search all bags, backpacks, small coolers, purses, containers etc. upon entry and re-entry. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry.

Wristbands can be purchased on the Carnival grounds.

Near the Headquarters tent. There will be a tub marked LOST & FOUND.

There will be a designated area for bag chairs so space is limited. 

Guns are prohibited on all Ankeny Chamber SummerFest grounds. We are a weapons-free event!
